Use Fixo on Beard
In the Sikh religion, believing followers that hair uncut shows dedication hold religious. Under this practice, it is forbidden to cut facial hair or shave. For Sikhs who hold to this philosophy, it can be difficult to cope with their beards in work situations.
To address this need, the number of products have been developed to temporarily restrain hair on the face. One of the best known products is Simco hair fixer or Fixo, gel sets the hair in place. With Fixo and a few other items, you can manage your hair for professional situations without sacrificing your religious beliefs.
Use Fixo on Beard
Put generous amount of hair fixer into your hand and use your other hand to apply it evenly to outside of your beard. Your beard should already be damp, but not wet. Use small brush to spread it throughout your beard.
Work quickly to apply product before it begins to dry and becomes hard to work with. Place small, dark, rubber band around your beard, directly under your chin. You can also tie beard into knot to secure it, instead of using rubber.
Don’t secure it so tightly that it causes pain. Grab loose part of beard and roll it upward. Tuck bottom of beard into top part, going from underside of your beard out.
Stick hairpin into beard to hold tucked in part in place. Brush part of your beard that covers your chin. Use brush to smooth down gelled hair so that it stays firmly in place.
When beard is molded into shape you want, tie thatha or small piece of cloth around your head, so that fabric covers your chin and jaw area. Use hair dryer to dry and set hair under thatha. Wait five to 10 minutes before removing cloth.
