Troubleshoot Air Conditioning in Ford F-Series

Remove fuse panel cover by turning fasteners counter clockwise. fuse that needs replacing is red number 10 fuse. Have look at control panel if temperature controls on dashboard are not working and do not feel right.

First pry off instrument panel that surrounds radio, clock, CD player and temperature controls. Unscrew four screws holding climate controls assembly. Remove entire assembly.

Listen for blower motor while engine is running. Adjust air from low to high and listen for accompanying increase in noise from blower fan. If you cannot hear it, you may need to replace blower motor or just blower motor fuse.

This fuse is green number 107. Find blower motor in F-series truck by propping up hood of truck. blower motor will be toward front of vehicle.
