Remove any attached drain hose that is connected to unit. Have assistant hold case, and slowly pull unit forward until it is fully withdrawn from its case. Lay unit on lat surface.

View inside of unit’s casing. Locate any screws used to fasten casing to studs or plates around unit’s casing, and remove such screws, using screwdriver. Pry away any portion of casing that has gotten stuck to studs or plates around casing, using wonder bar.

Pull casing slowly out of wall opening to remove it. Take extra care when handling casing to avoid cuts that can be caused by sharp metal edges. Place casing carefully on flat surface.
