Put 24 Volt Solar Power System Together

As need for energy conservation to further increase, begin to search for more people to solar energy systems as a solution. 24 volt solar power system is a good compromise between the small 12-volt system and large 48-volt system. The structure of 24-volt system requires solar panels, 24-volt batteries, power controller, electric wires and inverters have been required.

Number of batteries and solar cells all depends on what you want the system to power. Labeling solar SP1, SP2, SP3 and SP4. Connect the negative lead of SP1 to positive wire from SP2.

Then connect negative wire of SP3 to positive wire of SP4. Next connect positive wire of SP1 to positive wire of SP3, and then connect negative wire of SP2 to negative wire of SP4. This configuration places series connected SP1 and SP2 in parallel with series connected SP3 and SP4.

This gives us 24 volt output with twice current of just one pair of solar panels. Connect one end of red wire to positive terminal of SP1 and connect other end to positive solar input side of power controller. Then connect black wire from negative terminal of SP2 to negative solar input side of power controller.

Connect first 24 volt battery to battery side of power controller. positive terminal of battery should connect to positive terminal of battery side of power controller. Then connect negative terminal of battery to negative terminal side of power controller.

second battery should be connected to first battery by connecting positive battery terminals of both batteries together. This should also be done for negative battery terminals as well. Run output from power controller to distribution box.

distribution box can distribute power to various parts of home.
